Planning Board Workshops
August 30th
Site Walk for Shoreland Zoning-Application for Christine Zukas-Tax Map U1-Lot 16. The Planning Board will meet at the Town Office on Friday, August 26th at 7:45 a.m. and proceed to the property. Anyone interested in attending the site walk should meet at the town office no later than 7:45am. A meeting will follow the site walk at the town hall in the conference room.
The next Planning Board Regularly scheduled meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 6th at 7 p.m.
Comprehensive Plan Committee Meetings
will be at 6:30 pm at the Brownfield Public Library

Mountain Division Trail Update:
The Mountain Division Rail Use Advisory Council has made their recommendation for the future use of the rail line. The proposal is to convert the rail to a pedestrian/bikeway until any future need for rail is determined. The General Assistance Program is designed to help people in emergencies. It is designated the program of last resort. People may be eligible to receive other benefits such as Food Stamps, Veteran's Benefits, or Social Security Income. There are guidelines that you must meet to be eligible for the program: an application must be filled out and reviewed for completeness. The application is private and confidential. A written decision will be issued by the GA Administrator after reciept of application. Applications will be issued during office hours Tuesday thru Friday 7:00am-4:00pm.
